IT Project Manager (Senior)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead and deliver complex, high-visibility projects within the organization. This role requires strong project management expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage multi-year initiatives with significant risk and cross-functional dependencies. The candidate will act as a single point of contact for assigned projects and ensure successful execution from initiation through delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Manage all phases of project lifecycle including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Oversee Meter-to-Cash IT projects and ensure timely delivery.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and manage project dependencies.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on risk assessments, alternative analyses, and solution designs.
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and project sponsors.
• Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams and ensure alignment.
• Resolve project conflicts and drive decision-making.
• Present project updates and key decisions to senior leadership and executives.
• Mentor junior project managers and promote best practices across the organization.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in project management, project controls, engineering, or related fields.
• Proven experience managing complex, large-scale IT projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with risk management and project governance.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IT PMO frameworks and deliverables.
• Strong presentation skills with ability to communicate with senior leadership.
• Experience in enterprise-level or utility domain projects is a plus.
