Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Project Manager to join our corporate IT department in Graz. This pivotal role requires a strong leader who can manage complex IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they align with business objectives and are delivered on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be fluent in English, and thrive in a dynamic, international corporate environment. You will work closely with various stakeholders across different departments and global locations, driving the successful implementation of critical IT infrastructure and software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple IT projects concurrently, utilizing agile or traditional project management methodologies as appropriate.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and external vendors.
• Ensure project documentation is comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date.
• Oversee the successful deployment and transition of new IT systems and applications.
• Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate success and identify lessons learned.

Required Skills

• Proven experience as an IT Project Manager in a corporate setting.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycles, and modern technologies.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken) for international communication.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams and external vendors effectively.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PRINCE2, or other recognized project management certification.
• Experience in the automotive or engineering industry.
• Familiarity with ITIL framework.
• German language skills are a plus.
