IT Project Manager

About Us

For an established company in the Hamburg area, we are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to structure and manage IT projects securely until handover to operations.

Responsibilities

• Planning, control, and monitoring of medium to large IT projects
• Responsibility for deadlines, resources, risks, budget, and project progress
• Close cooperation with specialist departments, IT teams, project owners, and management
• Recording and evaluation of requirements from specialist departments
• Coordination of suitable IT solutions together with the technical teams
• Selection, coordination, and management of external service providers
• Creation of status reports, risk analyses, budget overviews, and decision proposals
• Execution of project controlling and regular project communication
• Participation in the IT project portfolio and in the further development of internal project standards
• Preparation and execution of presentations for various stakeholders

Profile

• Several years of experience in leading IT projects
• Experience in classic and agile project methods
• Knowledge of PRINCE2 / PRINCE2 Agile or comparable methods
• Experience in project controlling, resource planning, and service provider management
• Good technical understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, operating systems, networks, or IT security
• Confident handling of requirements management and project documentation
• Structured, reliable, and solution-oriented way of working
• Strong communication skills in exchanges with specialist departments, IT, service providers, and management
• Very good German and good English skills
