The Projects and IT department in the General Secretariat of the Building Department acts as a central hub for over 2000 employees in the department and around 300 specialist applications.

Your Role

To complement our team, we are looking for an experienced and dedicated personality as an IT Project Manager & Business Analyst.

Responsibilities

• You lead IT and organizational projects end-to-end with responsibility for costs, deadlines, quality, and goal achievement
• You coach specialist project managers
• You analyze business processes and requirements, develop solutions, and improve them together with stakeholders
• You ensure close collaboration between specialist departments and IT
• You actively participate in committees and working groups

Your Profile

• You have an IT-related education and further training in project management (e.g., IPMA Level C/B)
• You have several years of experience in project management and ideally knowledge in requirements engineering and low-code platforms
• You work analytically, structurally, and conceptually and have a strong hands-on mentality
• You convince with decisiveness, networked thinking, and strong communication skills

About Us

The General Secretariat (GS) is the hub between the six offices of the Building Department. In addition to central tasks in the areas of finance, IT, personnel, and communication, it is also responsible for statements on political initiatives, consultations, and the coordination of legislative projects. Furthermore, the employees of the GS handle supervisory complaints and appeals against decisions of the offices and against resolutions of the municipalities. Another field of activity is the implementation of environmental protection within the administration and the coordination of environmental impact assessments for large construction projects.
