NextStep Recruiting LLC is seeking a Technical Business Development Manager. This position is 100% remote but does require someone to reside in either the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex area or Austin/San Antonio area as the role requires the business development manager to visit clients in person regularly. NextStep Recruiting is a leading staffing firm that focuses on contingent placements. We focus on building long-lasting relationships with hiring managers in small to Fortune 500 companies.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with hiring managers through in person, phone, email, social media, and text.
  • Communicate with them to understand their organizational needs and pain points and work with our seasoned recruiting team to present qualified candidates to assist with those needs.
  • Responsible for the full sales lifecycle.
  • This includes cold calling, client visits, taking job orders, presenting candidates, and continued follow-up.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a Sales role within the staffing industry (Technical staffing is highly preferred)
  • 2+ years in a commission-based role
  • Outstanding communication experience with empathy for customers and candidates to strike the right balance. You need to advocate for the customer, but also appropriately influence and push back when needed to help the customer be successful
  • Ability to take feedback from customers and translate it to actionable feature requests for our recruiting team
  • Strong sense of urgency for action.
  • Detail-oriented, results drive, and a go-getter.
  • Excellent team player that puts the team first.
  • Must live in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex area or Austin/San Antonio Area to be considered for this role.

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Strong tenure with a proven track record of success
