Responsibilities

• Monitoring our system and network landscape for security-relevant events in real-time
• Initial analysis and professional evaluation of security alerts via a central SIEM system
• Structured classification, prioritization, and categorization of incidents according to defined criteria
• Implementation of standardized response measures based on existing playbooks
• Clean documentation and escalation of security incidents according to clear processes
• Close cooperation with internal IT teams and security specialists for in-depth analyses

Profile

• Completed training in the IT field (e.g., IT specialist for system integration) or comparable qualification
• Initial to several years of experience in IT operations, system administration, or IT security
• Basic understanding of security technologies such as firewalls, endpoint security, IDS/IPS, or network security
• Initial contact with SIEM systems (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, or comparable) – practical depth is not a must
• Interest in current threat landscapes, attack techniques, and security concepts
• Very good German and good English language skills
