IT Security Engineer 80-100% (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Planning, conception, and implementation of IT security solutions
• Monitoring the threat situation as well as analyzing and evaluating security incidents
• Risk analyses, reviewing and approving firewall change requests, and conducting vulnerability scans
• Evaluation of system solutions in the areas of IT security and data protection
• Further development of security management processes through standardization, automation, and efficiency improvement
• Ensuring IT security in projects as well as implementing current security topics in cooperation with internal and external partners

Your Profile

• Completed education in computer science (HF/FH/University) with further training in IT security
• Solid knowledge in network security, especially firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, SIEM, and security architectures
• Experience in analyzing complex security incidents and evaluating technical system solutions
• In-depth knowledge of IT security and data protection, ideally related to GDPR, ISO 27001, and BSI basic protection
• Practical experience in vulnerability management, log management, mail security, and phishing simulations
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style as well as strong communication skills and willingness to participate in on-call duties
