Responsibilities

• Conception, implementation, and maintenance of the security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption solutions.
• Support of IT infrastructure and security topics within the global IT infrastructure team, including network, servers, and end devices.
• Close collaboration with IT teams, management, and external partners to ensure a unified approach to security at all locations.
• Leading the technical response to security incidents, including investigation, forensic analysis, damage limitation, and reporting.
• Conducting security training for IT colleagues on best security practices and systems.
• Maintaining detailed documentation on security procedures and incidents in accordance with company security policies.

Profile

• University degree or relevant IT security certifications
• At least 5 years of professional experience in IT, with at least 3 years focused on IT security
• Profound knowledge of security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption, and vulnerability analysis tools.
• Good knowledge of IT infrastructure, including network technologies as well as on-premise and cloud solutions, is desirable
• Experience in the pharmaceutical and/or manufacturing industry as well as familiarity with GxP regulations
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to convey complex security concepts understandably to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure
• Willingness to travel for business to support locations in Europe and the USA
