Responsibilities

• You strengthen the IT security architecture through hardening of Windows servers, clients, and Active Directory structures (including GPO/OU concepts and privileged access approaches)
• You are responsible for vulnerability management, derive measures, and implement them operationally (including introduction and use of appropriate tools)
• You support the rollout and continuous improvement of an XDR/Defender-based security solution and process corresponding security alerts
• You work closely with internal IT teams and external security partners - for example, on penetration tests, security assessments, and global coordination
• You accompany and drive security-relevant projects forward (e.g., system hardening, update/patch processes, endpoint security, optimization of existing security mechanisms)

Profile

• You have experience in IT security with a hands-on approach (hardening, vulnerability management, implementation of technical measures)
• You have knowledge in the Windows and AD environment (server/client, GPOs, OU design, privileged accounts)
• You ideally have initial contact with M365 or Azure security, XDR solutions, and modern security architectures
• You work analytically, pragmatically, and solution-oriented
• You communicate confidently in German and can also communicate in English in an international environment
