Responsibilities

• You will install, configure, and integrate our security products into existing IT infrastructures
• Current technical focuses include VPN and firewall solutions up to Layer 7, central administration of extensive network environments, and secure remote maintenance. Your openness to new technologies and further training will ensure you always grow with our products and help shape the future of IT security
• You will be deeply involved in complex network topologies and ensure the secure integration of our systems into heterogeneous environments
• Through close collaboration with Product Owners, Development, and Support, you will provide technical feedback directly for the further development of our products
• You will accompany the rollout at the customer's site, transition solutions to productive operation, and remain the technical point of contact for operation and further development

Requirements

• A completed degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a comparable technical/scientific field – or a solid IT apprenticeship (e.g., Fachinformatik)
• Experience with network technologies and protocols, ideally in technical consulting, technical support, or as an administrator
• Experience in the installation and administration of Windows clients, especially knowledge in the area of Windows Filtering Platform and error analysis using Windows Event Logs
• Experience with Windows Servers / Active Directory as well as basic knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM)
• A solid understanding of networks, TCP/IP stacks, routing, VPN technologies, and security concepts in IP-based systems
• Knowledge of Linux / Unix systems or interest and willingness to learn them. Ideally, shell or script experience
• Enjoyment of technical challenges, deep troubleshooting, and exploring new technologies
• Strong team spirit and the ability to communicate complex technical issues understandably and appropriately for the target audience – both internally and externally
• Fluent German (at least C1), good English skills, and willingness to travel (approx. 30%) within Germany
