IT Security Engineer Infrastructure Security (m/w/d)

Your Responsibilities:

• Planning, implementation, and continuous optimization of security measures within our IT infrastructure (Active Directory, Server/Client, Microsoft, Linux, Network, and Datacenter systems)
• Analysis and processing of security-relevant incidents, including documentation and initiation of appropriate countermeasures
• Participation in the implementation of audit and penetration test measures according to central IT security guidelines
• Operation, configuration, and further development of modern security solutions, e.g., Privileged Access Management (PAM), Enterprise Access Management (EAM), as well as audit and monitoring tools like PingCastle or BloodHound
• Consultation and close collaboration with IT infrastructure teams on security-critical changes, projects, and architectural decisions
• Participation in the development and enforcement of technical security standards and processes

Your Profile:

• You have successfully completed a degree in IT Security, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering with an IT focus, or a comparable degree program.
• At least 3 years of experience in system administration with a strong focus on IT security.
• In-depth understanding of complex IT infrastructures and their security-relevant interactions (operating systems, network, identities).
• Experience in the integration and operation of security technologies, including automation of security-relevant settings.
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working with high communication skills in collaboration with IT teams and external partners.
• Completed degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification.
• Very good German and good English skills, driver's license class B, and willingness to travel to our locations.
