Responsibilities
As an IT Security Engineer, you play a key role in protecting our IT infrastructure. You are not only responsible for the administration and further development of our SIEM landscape but also actively shape the future of our operational IT security:
- Shaping Security: You develop the solution design and implement new SIEM components and use cases to identify potential attacks.
- Driving Automation: With your expertise and hands-on mentality, you are responsible within the team for the ongoing automation of our SOC systems and processes, as well as the implementation of orchestration workflows.
- Acting Preventively: You identify preventive measures for detecting vulnerabilities and drive their project planning and implementation.
- Living Innovation: You drive the further development of processes, methods, and tools.
- Supporting the Team: You support the team in evaluating security events and in security incident response.
Profile
- You have successfully completed a degree in (Business) Informatics or have a comparable qualification.
- Ideally, you have gained experience in a SOC team and their SIEM solutions.
- Basic knowledge of automation, such as Ansible.
- In-depth knowledge of network technologies and cloud security solutions.
- Experience in administering Linux systems.
- Conceptual skills as well as an analytical and solution-oriented way of working.
- Good German and English language skills.
