We are looking for an IT Security Engineer (m/f/d) as soon as possible. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the IT Security Manager in technical matters, further developing existing IT security systems, and integrating new ones.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and develop proposals for the consolidation and optimization of existing IT security systems
- Manage comprehensive patch and vulnerability management
- Implement/introduce suitable IT security technologies (e.g., Cloud Security)
- Perform second-level support for all IT security systems and ensure the maintenance of technical documentation
- Develop and conduct security and awareness training
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in the IT field or comparable qualifications acquired elsewhere
- Comprehensive knowledge in a heterogeneous IT environment
- Experience with technical IT security solutions (e.g., EDR/XDR) and handling patch management
- Sound network knowledge as well as knowledge of network security technology
- Good understanding of security concepts and protocols
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Very good German and good English skills

Requirements
- Abgeschlossene Ausbildung im Informatikbereich oder anderweitig erworbene vergleichbare Qualifikationen
- Umfassende Kenntnisse im heterogenen IT-Umfeld
- Erfahrung mit technischen IT-Security-Lösungen (z.B. EDR/XDR) und Umgang mit Patchmanagement
- Fundierte Netzwerkkenntnisse sowie Kenntnisse der Netzwerk-Sicherheitstechnik
- Gutes Verständnis von Sicherheitskonzepten und -protokollen
- Ausgezeichnete Kommunikations- und Teamfähigkeit sowie Problemlösungs- und Analysefähigkeiten
- Sehr gute Deutsch- und gute Englischkenntnisse
Responsibilities
- Bewerten und Erarbeiten von Vorschlägen zur Konsolidierung und Optimierung bestehender IT-Security-Systeme
- Betreuung eines umfassenden Patch- und Vulnerability-Managements
- Aufbau/Einführung geeigneter IT-Security-Technologien (z.B. Cloud Security)
- Durchführen des Second-Level-Supports für alle IT-Security-Systeme sowie Sicherstellen der Pflege technischer Dokumentationen
- Aufbau und Durchführung von Sicherheits- und Awareness-Schulungen
