Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the technical implementation of necessary security measures and security controls to protect the IT infrastructure from cyberattacks and unauthorized access (e.g. ISO27001)
• You take over the introduction, further development and administration as well as support of security solutions, such as Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
• You identify and evaluate potential security risks and vulnerabilities and proactively develop and pursue measures for their mitigation or to reduce their impact
• You independently conduct penetration tests, among other things, to determine the strengths and weaknesses of our security architecture
• In the event of security incidents, you support the necessary steps and are available for the remediation of vulnerabilities
• You work closely with our IT teams to develop innovative IT security concepts and implement them together with the IT teams
• You act as a multiplier for IT security and strengthening security awareness throughout the company
• You ensure proper documentation in the context of IT information security

Profile

• You have a degree in computer science, information security, or a comparable qualification
• You have 3+ years of experience in IT security and accordingly have experience with cybersecurity tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, Antivirus software
• You have knowledge of network security, encryption, authentication, and access control
• You have (basic) knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Python
• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH or similar are an advantage
• You have an understanding of cloud technology concepts such as Infrastructure as a Service (SaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS), Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
• You work with other teams and have the ability to effectively communicate security needs and risks
• You have experience in the implementation and operation of SIEM, VA scanners, IDS/IPS, firewalls, antiviruses, network sensors, and endpoint security solutions
• You also have experience in implementing security concepts in the Kubernetes environment
• An independent way of working is very important to us
• Very good German and English skills
