We are looking for a Senior Expert for one of our locations in Stuttgart, Mannheim, Wiesbaden, Kassel, or Dresden.

Responsibilities

• You are the first point of contact for operational IT security in the main department and take over the technical management of the virtual team for operational IT security.
• You are responsible for essential security areas such as vulnerability management, Security Operations Center & Incident Response.
• Following the motto "Sharing is Caring," you ensure knowledge transfer in the context of IT security, plan threat & vulnerability analyses, and contribute to corresponding risk assessments of identified GAPs.
• You develop comprehensive security strategies and improve existing methods for ensuring IT security throughout the entire product lifecycle.
• You actively monitor developments in IT security beyond company boundaries and adapt the strategy accordingly.
• You take responsibility for IT security committees and manage them purposefully.

Requirements

• You have successfully completed a degree in computer science or a comparable qualification with a focus on information technology, as well as several years of professional experience and (in-depth) know-how in IT security.
• You are a generalist in IT security with a passion for conceptual work combined with a hands-on mentality.
• You have knowledge of relevant standards and frameworks (e.g., DORA, ISO2, ISO 2700x, NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK & D3FEND) and sound know-how regarding common technical infrastructure and security systems (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, etc.).
• You work solution-oriented and with a high degree of initiative, are committed, communicative, and enjoy challenges.
• You remain calm and focused even in critical situations.
• Teamwork skills and self-motivation complete your profile.
