IT Security Engineer/Analyst
Location: Switzerland
About
In this job as an IT Security Engineer/Analyst you will observe, investigate and organize appropriate measures against vulnerabilities and critical security incidents, including attack response. As part of the team, you will oversee the management, support and development of the existing SIEM environment. Business fluent German and good English are a requirement for this position.
Responsibilities
- Creation and execution of technical concepts.
- Work with Red Team Operations to analyze and generate countermeasure and elimination procedures.
- View, track and neutralize threats and attack events in real time.
Requirements
- A Computer science/security education or 5+ years of IT security experience
- Interest in IT security and a desire to remain up to date with new technologies and threats
- Strong communication and documentation skills with a proactive mindset
- An understanding and practical knowledge of core SIEM concepts is an advantage
- Able to work on‑call
- Business Fluent German and good English
- Candidates with further education/certificates in IT security are considered advantageous
