IT Security & Network Engineer

Your role in the team

• Planning, operation, and continuous development of our network and security infrastructure (firewall, VPN, routing, switching, WLAN).
• Monitoring, analysis, and assessment of security events (SIEM, IDS/IPS).
• Implementation and maintenance of IT security measures (e.g., patch management, endpoint security).
• Analysis and resolution of network and IT security issues (2nd Level Support).
• Participation in the development and continuous improvement of security policies and network concepts.
• Conducting and coordinating vulnerability assessments.
• Participation in infrastructure and IT security projects.
• Support with audits and certifications (e.g., ISO 27001).

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, VPN, as well as Routing & Switching.
• Basic understanding of IT security and common security concepts.
• Knowledge in the use of SIEM tools as well as IDS/IPS systems.
• Structured and solution-oriented working style as well as team skills.
• Secure German language skills for collaboration within the team and with internal interfaces.

Experience

• Several years of professional experience in network or system administration.
• Experience with firewalls (e.g., Sophos).
• Experience in the field of Identity & Access Management (e.g., Keycloak, Active Directory, MFA, SSO).
