About REWE digital Austria GmbH

The REWE digital Austria GmbH is responsible for the development and support of POS solutions (software for assisted checkouts, mobile checkouts, self-checkouts, mobile payment or cash payment with money devices, etc.) for the REWE Group. We are responsible for the complete software development process from consulting and conception to technical implementation as well as testing/quality assurance and support, and we work predominantly agile.

IHRE AUFGABEN - VIELSEITIG WIE DER HANDEL

• Development of checkout-oriented software applications in inventory software and in the entire new development of the product suite
• Conception, design, documentation, and implementation take place in agile, cross-functional teams
• Execution of quality assurance measures, analyses, and bug fixing
• Consulting regarding feasibility and development of technical solution approaches
• Participation in the creation of effort estimations
• Contribution to architectural decisions
• Maintenance and support of the products responsible for in ongoing operation

IHR PROFIL - STARK WIE UNSERE MARKEN

• Completed IT education (HTL, UNI, FH) and/or professional experience in software development
• Very good knowledge in development with Java and C, C++
• Knowledge of technologies Spring Boot, Angular, QT, ActiveMQ, Kafka, Maven, Git, SonarQube, containerization is an advantage
• Very good user knowledge of MS and Linux operating systems as well as database knowledge (SQL)
• Initial experience with web technologies is an advantage
• Excellent analytical skills and independent work
• German and English: B2 (confident oral and written communication in everyday work)
