Responsibilities

• Development of Cloud and Modern Workplace Architectures: You design and implement scalable, highly available, and secure cloud infrastructures – both in the Modern Workplace and in private and public cloud environments (Azure).
• Consulting and Requirements Analysis: You work closely with our customers, understand their business requirements, and develop tailor-made, innovative, and future-oriented cloud solutions.
• Technical Leadership: You take responsibility for the architecture and design of complex systems, calculate costs, conduct technical reviews, negotiate successfully with customers, and ensure that all solutions meet the highest quality and security standards.
• Integration of Cloud Solutions: You develop hybrid architectures and ensure that private cloud resources are seamlessly integrated with public cloud components.
• Technology Selection and Evaluation: You evaluate current technologies and tools and recommend the solutions that best fit our customers' requirements.
• Collaboration: You work closely with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams, as well as other internal and external stakeholders, to ensure the successful implementation of our cloud strategies.
• Innovation Management: You actively follow the latest trends and developments in Modern Workplace and cloud technologies and integrate future-oriented approaches into your architecture designs.
• Service Portfolio: You actively shape the continuous development of our service portfolio and the underlying platforms.

Qualifications

• Completed studies in (business) computer science or a comparable education.
• Several years of experience as a Solution Architect, Cloud Architect, or in a comparable role with a focus on Modern Workplace, private, and public cloud solutions.
• Sound knowledge in the planning, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructures (Microsoft Azure).
• Deep understanding of the way an IT service provider and IT service provider works.
• Experience in the banking and finance sector is a plus.
• At least 5 to 7 years of experience in the conception, integration, and orchestration of cloud and Modern Workplace architectures, including hybrid scenarios (Azure, On-Premise, Private and Public Cloud).
• Sound knowledge of cloud security models, network architectures, containerization, and automation (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible).
• Very good knowledge of the most important cloud services (e.g., Compute, Storage, Network, Databases, Identity & Access Management).
• Experience in implementing solutions that ensure scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery.
• Confidence in using common architecture frameworks, methods, and best practices.
• Experience with cost calculation, TCO analyses, and licensing models.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, as well as experience in collaborating with customers and interdisciplinary teams.
• Team-oriented way of working, combined with initiative and a sense of responsibility.
• Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken; French is an advantage.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AZ-104 are a plus.
