The ADAC IT Service GmbH is the central IT service provider for all IT services within ADAC and plays a crucial role in ADAC's continued success and the technical modernization of ADAC's service portfolio. You will work with over 250 IT specialists in an attractive work environment with state-of-the-art technologies to advance the digitalization of ADAC. We are looking for a passionate IT Solution Architect who enjoys designing and implementing complex IT solutions for our in-house customers. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end solution design and drive our IT transformation forward in exciting projects.

Your Tasks

• You analyze existing architectures and requirements of our business units, develop sustainable, scalable solution designs (end-to-end), and accompany the implementation of complex IT solutions in a hybrid cloud environment.
• You validate the feasibility of your solutions through proof of concepts, contribute to the creation of offers, and support colleagues with your know-how in the concrete implementation.
• You advise customers and projects on the further development and optimization of the IT landscape in line with the roadmap and corporate strategy, are responsible for compliance with architectural principles and standards, and independently manage technical, software, and architectural issues.
• You use existing technologies and utilize PaaS services from our cloud platform to meet requirements for interfaces between our business systems.
• You align your solution designs with the business requirements of our business units. In your planning, you consider the principles of our enterprise architecture as well as non-functional requirements for IT security and infrastructure.

Your Profile

• Education – You have completed a degree in (business) computer science or a comparable qualification in the IT field.
• Experience – You have several years of experience in software development, architecture, or IT consulting, ideally in the insurance industry.
• Technical Know-how – You have experience with software designs, languages, and architectures, as well as technical dimensioning. You have actively shaped cloud-based and hybrid infrastructure scenarios, taking into account middleware technology and IT security aspects. Knowledge or certifications in typical insurance applications are a plus. Your expertise is always up-to-date. Independent further training and attending trade fairs are a matter of course for you.
• Business and Process Understanding – You are familiar with requirements engineering methods and knowledge of typical insurance processes, such as claims management, as well as relevant (regulatory) legal requirements.
• Communication – You are characterized not only by a high degree of customer orientation and service mentality, but also by very good communication skills in German and English. You can present complex issues in a target-group-oriented manner and visualize them appealingly.
• Analytical and strategic thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills complete your profile.
