IT Solutions Engineer

Your Exciting Tasks

• You administer our own domain and ensure the stable and uninterrupted operation of this system for our users.
• You act as a direct contact for our team in the Bonn office during our business hours.
• You are jointly responsible for the continuous further development and optimization of all components of our domain.
• You plan and configure complex IT systems with high security requirements.
• You install and configure hardware components, operating systems, and network components in a high-performance overall system.
• You create and maintain technical documentation, system documentation, and operating concepts.
• You support our project teams with needs analyses, cost estimates, and the preparation of IT systems for our customers.

These Qualifications You Bring

Whether you have completed a degree or vocational training, e.g., in computer science, business informatics, or geoinformatics, is secondary to us – what counts for us are your technical skills and your personality.

• You are a team player and actively contribute yourself and your ideas to your work environment.
• You have a high affinity for the use of modern IT systems.
• You possess good knowledge of current Microsoft and Linux operating systems.
• You have gained good basic knowledge in the area of virtualization of IT systems.
• You already have initial experience with the use and administration of container engines.
• You possess a Class B driver's license.
• You have good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
• You wish for an exciting and varied work environment.
