About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong IT Supply Chain and Finance Data Analyst to support critical analytics and reporting needs across our Supply Chain and Finance functions. This role requires strong SQL expertise, ETL development experience, and the ability to design and maintain scalable data models.
You will partner closely with teams in Supply Chain and Finance to transform business requirements into actionable insights, dashboards, and data solutions. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with complex datasets, improving data quality, and enabling more effective decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and maintain advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, and data extraction logic.
- Build, enhance, and support ETL processes to integrate data from multiple systems.
- Design and maintain data models for supply chain and financial analytics.
- Create and support dashboards, reports, and KPIs for Supply Chain and Finance teams.
- Analyze data related to purchasing, inventory performance, costs, budgeting, and financial metrics.
- Assist Finance with month-end reporting, variance analysis, and ad-hoc financial data requests.
- Troubleshoot data issues, validate data accuracy, and support data governance best practices.
- Collaborate with IT to support ERP data workflows and integrations with analytics platforms.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Supply Chain Analyst, Finance Analyst, BI Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, including writing and optimizing complex queries.
- Hands-on experience creating and maintaining ETL pipelines.
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts such as fact and dimension tables, star schema, and relationships.
- Experience developing reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data validation skills.
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Infor, JD Edwards, or Epicor is a plus.
- Experience with Java, JavaScript and/or REST APIs is a plus.
- Understanding of supply chain processes including inventory, procurement, planning, and costing is a plus.
- Experience with financial reporting workflows such as budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages such as Python is a plus.
- Experience supporting data governance or master data initiatives.
