IT Support Engineer (Full Day activity)

Tasks

• Register entry, comply with local protocols, note escort requirements.
• Capture GPS coordinates, photograph main demarcation point, record comms room location.
• Measure distance between demarcation point and comms room.
• Record rack details (ID, height, occupied/free U, device types), check stability, capture photos.
• Measure floor area, verify power feeds, UPS, cooling, grounding.
• Record WAN/LAN devices, ports, interfaces, patch panels.
• Note change freeze dates, compliance standards, access control, delivery capabilities, language preferences, risks.
