You ensure that state-of-the-art imaging systems run stably, performantly, and reliably in clinics worldwide – directly contributing to the improvement of patient care – remotely from home with occasional visits to the Berlin office (approx. 1x per quarter).
The employer is an established medium-sized company and an internationally leading provider of software solutions in the field of medical image processing and enterprise imaging, whose platform is used in leading clinics worldwide.
We are looking for candidates at various experience levels – meaning applications from dedicated career starters are just as welcome as those from experienced specialists.
Responsibilities
- Installation, configuration, and operation of complex imaging systems (remote)
- Analysis and resolution of technical faults at the server, network, and application level
- Performance of preventive maintenance measures to ensure system availability
- Collaboration with clinical users, IT departments, and internal specialists
- Support for system introductions and international rollouts ("Go-Live Support")
- Independent processing of service requests with high service quality
Qualifications
- Completed degree or training in the IT field (e.g., computer science, system integration, medical technology) or similar qualification
- Experience in server, infrastructure, or system operation
- Good knowledge of Linux or Windows Server, networks, and ideally databases (SQL)
- Structured, analytical mindset and enjoyment of complex troubleshooting
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of working with customers
- Very good English skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally (approx. 1x per quarter to Berlin)
Plus points (not a must):
- Experience with DICOM, HL7, or PACS systems
- Knowledge in the healthcare IT environment
