IT TESTER

About

Performs complex testing activities across integration, regression, and functional testing for moderately to highly integrated systems. Ensures compliance with system requirements by following testing standards, leveraging Azure DevOps (ADO) Test Plans, Agile/SAFe practices, AI-driven test case generation, and Gherkin-based BDD techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex test plans in ADO aligned to standards
• Analyze requirements and design comprehensive test coverage
• Create manual test cases
• Create automated test cases using Gherkin syntax
• Utilize AI tools to generate and enhance test cases
• Execute SIT, regression, and functional testing
• Execute both manual and automated test cases
• Troubleshoot and maintain automation scripts (UFT, XPath, parameterization)
• Document and manage defects; perform root cause analysis
• Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies and estimation activities
• Communicate risks, blockers, and progress to stakeholders
• Produce audit-ready test documentation and artifacts

Required Qualifications

• Experience with ADO Test Plans and test case management
• Strong Agile/SAFe testing experience
• Hands-on test automation and defect management experience
• Proficiency with Gherkin (Given/When/Then) syntax
• Experience using AI tools/agents for test case creation
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Financial services or enterprise system experience
• CI/CD pipeline and DevOps testing experience

Compensation

$60/hr w2

This is the targeted compensation range for this role per year. Please note that this range is provided as a guideline and the final offer will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skillset and competencies, level of experience, education, certifications, and location.
