Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IVR Engineer to design, develop, and support cloud-based telephony solutions using the AWS ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Amazon Connect and related AWS services to build scalable, AI-powered IVR systems that enhance customer experience and optimize call handling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement IVR solutions using Amazon Connect
  • Develop serverless backend logic using AWS Lambda (Python/Node.js)
  • Integrate conversational AI using Amazon Lex
  • Build and manage APIs using API Gateway
  • Work with DynamoDB and S3 for data storage and management
  • Integrate telephony systems using SIP/VoIP technologies
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance IVR workflows
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Connect
  • Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3
  • Proficiency in Python or Node.js
  • Good understanding of IVR systems and call flows
  • Knowledge of SIP, VoIP, and speech recognition technologies
  • Experience with Amazon Lex or similar chatbot/NLU tools

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in AI-driven conversational IVR systems
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Prior experience working in onsite client environments
