Back-End Software Engineer

We’re looking for a highly skilled Back-End Software Engineer with strong Java expertise who can initially contribute as an individual contributor and evolve into a technical leader. This is a high-impact role where you’ll design scalable systems, solve complex engineering challenges, and influence architecture decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable backend systems
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive innovative solutions
• Write secure, efficient, and production-grade code; review and debug others' code
• Identify automation opportunities to improve system stability and efficiency
• Lead technical evaluations with internal teams, vendors, and startups
• Contribute to architectural design and long-term engineering strategy
• Promote adoption of modern technologies and best practices
• Collaborate across teams to deliver high-impact solutions

Must-Have Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Java development
• Strong experience with:
  • AWS (EC2, EMR)
  • Kubernetes
  • Cassandra
  • Kafka
  • CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
• Solid understanding of system design and distributed architecture
• Experience working in modern SDLC environments (TDD, CI/CD, DevOps practices)
