Java Backend Developer

About

You will design and implement large-scale distributed systems and web services using Java and microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate critical production systems designed for extensibility and testability.
• Design and implement modern APIs following RESTful principles.
• Develop modular software using object-oriented and systems engineering practices.
• Deploy and maintain critical applications within cloud-based environments.
• Modify or extend open-source software maintained as part of larger projects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Angular.
• Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and PCF.
• Knowledge of Jenkins, Maven, Ant, or Gradle.
• Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and modular design.
• Experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Fluency with Git or other SCM systems.
