Java Backend Engineer Spring Boot & Azure - NEED LOCAL

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Build and consume RESTful APIs; perform API testing using Postman
• Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance microservices
• Integrate applications with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure
• Manage build and dependency tools using Maven
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Harness
• Use Git for version control and collaborative development
• Monitor application health and troubleshoot issues using Splunk and Dynatrace
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and frontend developers
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude to improve productivity

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot framework
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with Maven for project management
• Proficiency with Git for version control
• Experience with Postman for API testing
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Harness
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace
• Comfortable working with IDEs like IntelliJ, Eclipse, or Visual Studio
