JAVA DEVELOPER (MID-LEVEL)

THE OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

• The purpose of this position is to support critical business functions through the development, implementation, testing, and maintenance of application systems.

SCOPE OF WORK

• The scope of work includes:
• Design, code, test, debug, maintain, and document software applications.
• Follow established software development standards and procedures.
• Support business functions through the development, implementation, and maintenance of application systems.
• Participate in peer code reviews.
• Collaborate with departments and users to support business applications.
• Contribute software development expertise to meet specifications.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Experience:
• 6+ years in JEE, including EJB 3+, Hibernate 3+, JMS, JSF, JBoss.
• 5+ years in Oracle 10g+ and RDBMS concepts.
• 5+ years in application development, software engineering, and design patterns.
• 5+ years in web application development.
• 4+ years in object-oriented design and architecture.
• 6+ years in technical documentation.

Additional desired experience includes:

• Application software and RDBMS integration.
• Configuration management and release principles.
• Application security concepts.
• Experience with Agile SDLC, Scrum preferred.
• High availability architectures.
• Networking and system engineering concepts.
• PL/SQL and scripting languages.
• Oracle Access Manager (OAM).
