About the Role

We are seeking a Software Engineer at the Intermediate Level to design, develop, test, and maintain web services and backend applications.

Responsibilities

• Implement features based on functional and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with product owners and team members to deliver assigned tasks on schedule.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following established standards.
• Participate in code reviews and apply feedback to improve code quality.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in development, UAT, and production environments.
• Update Jira tasks and provide regular progress reports.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing activities.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of hands-on software development experience.

Required Skills

• Exposure to telecommunications or VAS platforms.
• Experience with Kubernetes, cloud platforms, or CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development practices.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot (or similar backend frameworks).
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Basic experience with Linux environments and containerization tools such as Docker.
• Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to telecommunications or VAS platforms.
• Experience with Kubernetes, cloud platforms, or CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development practices.
