Java Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and support multiple critical Slack channels for engineering users.
• Perform incident triage, troubleshooting, and problem remediation for platform-related issues.
• Support and maintain standardized container images across Machine Shop, PLEC, and Chainguard platforms.
• Assist engineering teams in adoption and migration to containerized environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues quickly.
• Improve system reliability, performance, and developer experience.
• Contribute to automation, CI/CD pipelines, and operational best practices.
• Document issues, solutions, and operational procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong programming experience in Java, Python, or Node.js
• Hands-on experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services)
• Experience working with Docker and containerized applications
• Knowledge of AWS ECS and Fargate
• Experience with Jenkins or CI/CD tools
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Experience in production support or platform engineering environments
