Your Role

We are looking for a technically proficient Java Web Developer Backend Senior (m/f) to join the development team at our Salzburg location, starting immediately.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and development of robust and scalable Java 21+ services with Spring Boot 3+ for highly available solutions
• Shaping future-proof software architectures for stable, maintainable, and extensible backend services
• Ensuring code quality through automated tests, code reviews, and proven development practices
• Conducting tests and employing best practices to ensure code reliability
• Collaboration within an agile and cross-functional team

Your Profile

• Completed technical education and/or relevant professional experience (HTL / FH, University with a focus on Computer Science)
• Several years of relevant experience in software development, especially in the backend environment
• Very good knowledge of Java software development and practical experience with modern Java versions
• In-depth experience with Spring Boot and building scalable, production-ready backend services
• "You build it, you run it" mindset and practical experience operating applications in Kubernetes / Cloud environments
• Solid knowledge in the following areas & backend technologies:
  • RabbitMQ, Redis, Elasticsearch
  • Relational databases
  • Software testing and quality assurance
  • Git, Jira, Confluence
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken

Compensation

For this position, a gross monthly salary of up to € 6,500.00 is planned, depending on qualifications and professional experience.
