Responsibilities

  • Review job costs for completeness and compliance before closing
  • Post journal entries and transactions necessary for job closure
  • Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts
  • Enter transactions to maintain accurate financial records
  • Collaborate with AP to process overhead expenses and transactions
  • Manage purchase orders and coordinate material draw payments
  • Communicate effectively with vendors and team members
  • Other duties as assigned to support financial operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
  • 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience preferred
  • Prior experience in construction job costing a plus
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Strong Excel skills for spreadsheet optimization
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated and service-oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Upholds high standards of confidentiality, integrity, and honesty
