PURPOSE OF POSITION
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP MM Analyst with 2-3 years of firsthand experience in SAP MM, Procurement (PUR), Finished Goods (FG), and Global Product/Price Management (GPM). The individual will function under GCC as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for MM-related initiatives while also being a strong collaborator supporting operational excellence, mastering data governance, and transformation programs across SAP ECC and S/4HANA landscapes. This role requires a balance of functional ability, data governance, stakeholder management, and transformation mindset.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
SAP MM Functional & Operational Support
- Manage end-to-end SAP MM processes (PR, PO, GRN, Invoice Verification).
- Support Procurement (PUR) lifecycle and pricing procedures.
- Maintain and amend material master (MM01/MM02), pricing data, and master records.
- Manage finished goods (FG) master data and valuation.
- Manage vendor and customer master data creation & governance.
- Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness.
SPOC & Stakeholder Management
- Function as primary SPOC for MM-related queries, enhancements, and issue resolution.
- Consult with Business, IT, Sales, Finance, and Operations teams.
- Coordinate with SAP technical teams (ABAP/Basis) for developments and fixes.
- Drive requirement gathering workshops and solution documentation.
Master Data Governance & Controls
- Maintain material master, vendor master, pricing conditions.
- Ensure data quality standards and classification (Class, Characteristics).
- Manage authorizations and access control for MM users.
- Support audit requirements and compliance documentation.
Transformation & Projects
- Support SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration initiatives.
- Participate in blueprinting, testing (SIT/UAT), cutover planning.
- Support CRM and Sales platform integrations.
- Drive process standardization and automation opportunities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.
Reporting & Analytics
- Generate procurement and inventory reports.
- Analyze price variance, material usage, and vendor performance.
- Support dashboards (Power BI/SAP reports preferred).
- Monitor KPIs for procurement & master data accuracy.
Required Skills
- Strong direct experience in: SAP MM (Procurement & Inventory Management), SAP ECC & S/4HANA, Pricing configuration & condition records, Vendor & Customer Master Data, Material Classification (Class/Characteristics), Authorization concepts in SAP.
- Knowledge of: SAP CRM / Sales platform integration, IDOCs / Interfaces (basic understanding), SAP Fiori (preferred), Data migration tools (LSMW / LTMC).
Project & Operational Capabilities
- Experience handling both BAU support and project implementation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Exposure to Agile / Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience in global rollout or multi-location support preferred.
Qualifications
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering / commerce / business administration / IT
- MBA (Operations / Supply Chain / Systems) – Preferred
- SAP MM Certification – Good to have.
