Jr Business Analyst

ECS is seeking a Jr Business Analyst to work remotely .

We are currently seeking a communicative and well-rounded Business Analyst to join our team. The Business Analyst will work with stakeholders to understand business issues and opportunities and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to define the transformed business model, including re-engineered business processes, new or re-defined process roles, business requirements, and business rules.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining product backlogs, ensuring requirements are clear, prioritized, and actionable.
• Support overall project success by engaging in daily operational activities and surfacing process improvement opportunities: monitor and update Siteimprove Platform.
• Coordinate with various data team roles and skillsets to support solution design and project execution.
• Supports cross - functional project teams consisting of application development, IT operations, and information security teams
• Documents and tracks project changes, risks, and issues through resolution
• Maintains and updates all requirements documentation
• Communicates changes to requirements and projects to all stakeholders

Required Skills

• Strong Experience translating business needs into functional and technical requirements
• Demonstrate ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities simultaneously
• Experience with process improvement, documentation, and workflow optimization.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (developers, data engineers, product owner, CX members, etc.)
• Hands on experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence

Desired Skills

• Experience supporting federal or government contracts
• Familiarity with fast paced projects involving data, AI, and software development
• Experience supporting data-focused teams (data pipelines, data management, or tools like Power BI/Tableau)
• Ability to create process diagrams, data flows, and visual documentation (Miro, Visio, etc.)
• Experience juggling multiple priorities and turning vague requests into clear requirements
