About the role

A Fortune 500 investment firm is seeking a Junior Project Manager / Project Coordinator to support a high-visibility program delivering two investment-advice products in partnership with a third-party asset manager.

The program includes parallel workstreams across product, technology, operations, marketing, and legal, with an accelerated delivery timeline and client onboarding beginning mid-year. This role will support program coordination, tracking, and reporting across multiple stakeholders and workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Execution Support

  • Coordinate across workstream leads, program manager, and stakeholders to support delivery milestones
  • Schedule and facilitate recurring and ad-hoc meetings
  • Capture and distribute detailed meeting notes and action items

Tracking & Reporting

  • Maintain and update project artifacts including: Project plans, Status reports, Decision logs and Program trackers
  • Track action items and follow up with owners to ensure completion
  • Escalate risks and blockers to program leadership

Program Support & Communications

  • Support preparation of reporting materials using Excel and PowerPoint
  • Assist in organizing communication across internal teams and external third-party provider
  • Support coordination across two concurrent product workstreams

Required Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or PMO support
  • Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong proficiency in: Microsoft Excel & Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Experience tracking project plans, action items, and status reporting
  • Experience facilitating meetings and documenting outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in business process, operations, or transformation initiatives
  • Exposure to technology-driven projects or IT workstreams
  • Financial services experience (investment management, retirement, or advisory products)
