Jr. UX/UI Designer (m/f/d) - Remote

Dr. Ansay Ltd.

Canada · On-site Full-time Entry Level 1w ago

About the role

About Us

DrAnsay is a fast-growing digital health marketplace connecting patients, doctors, and pharmacies across multiple product lines. Our goal is to make healthcare more accessible, digital, and user-friendly — driven by data, evidence, and real user needs.

We operate in a regulated environment, move quickly, and work in a flat, highly collaborative structure where design decisions are made close to the work.

Your Mission

We’re looking for a Jr. UX Designer who can work across multiple products at the same time, design mobile-first experiences (web & native apps), and collaborate closely with UI designers, developers, QA, product, and research. You’re proactive, well-organized, curious, and comfortable learning continuously - including using AI as part of their daily UX workflow.

What you’ll do

  • Cross-Product UX Contribution: Support web and mobile products by designing clearly defined parts of user journeys across multiple platforms, working closely with the team lead to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Mobile-First, Platform-Aware Design: Create UX solutions aligned with iOS and Android guidelines, applying platform-specific patterns and constraints while maintaining a cohesive experience.
  • AI-Driven Prototyping: Use AI tools to rapidly prototype ideas, explore interaction patterns, and support early-stage concept validation.
  • UX Writing & Research Support: Draft and refine UX writing and microcopy (German & English), and prepare research documentation including IDIs, usability test reports, structured insights, and clear links between findings and product decisions.
  • Collaboration & Iteration: Work closely with UI designers, developers, QA, product managers, and researchers in a flat team structure; actively participate in reviews and translate user feedback into improved experiences.
  • Implementation-Ready Delivery: Maintain clean, structured Figma files, use components correctly, and prepare clear, developer-friendly specifications based on the Design System.

What you bring

  • Early UX/UI Experience: 1–2+ years of experience in UX/UI, Product Design, or a related field (internships and strong portfolio projects count).
  • Mobile-First Foundation: Foundational experience with responsive and mobile-first design, plus a basic understanding of iOS and Android UX patterns.
  • Figma Proficiency: Good working knowledge of Figma, including components, auto layout, prototyping, collaboration features, and design systems.
  • AI & Structured Thinking: Interest in AI tools and willingness to integrate them into your daily workflow, with the ability to structure information clearly for UX writing and research documentation.
  • Collaboration & Reliability: Strong collaboration skills, openness to feedback, good self-organization, and reliability in a fast‑moving environment.
  • Growth Mindset & Language Skills: Curiosity and continuous improvement mindset, fluent German and English, and ideally first experience working within a design system.

Our Working Style

  • Flat & Empowered
We work in a flat structure with direct collaboration across product, engineering, QA, marketing, and research. No heavy hierarchy, no long approval chains — strong arguments matter more than titles.

  • Pragmatic & Product-Focused
UX decisions are driven by real user needs, business goals, and regulatory realities. We value solutions that work — not just ideas that look good.

  • Continuous Learning & AI-Enabled
We evolve with our tools, technology, and product. We actively embrace AI‑supported workflows and encourage designers to keep growing.

What We Offer

  • #CreativeFreedom : Your ideas set standards — you own your domain end to end
  • #TopTeam : Work with smart, ambitious teams in a rapidly growing company
  • #HealthTechImpact : Help improve access to healthcare for millions of people
  • #AttractiveCompensation : We value responsibility, performance, and impact
  • #LearningAndGrowth : Personal development is part of our culture — with time and budget for your growth
