About
Geo/cgi is seeking a talented Jr. Web Developer to support the U.S. Army Office of Army Cemeteries and Arlington National Cemetery. This role will be part of a small dynamic team responsible for supporting existing technologies, developing new applications, and building engaging web experiences supporting one of the nation's most historic and visible organizations.
The ideal candidate is a strong full-stack developer with experience designing and developing modern web applications, refining user experiences, and delivering secure, production-ready solutions in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications and user experiences.
- Support existing applications while developing new features and functionality.
- Collaborate with project leadership and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
- Create wireframes, workflows, and technical approaches supporting application development.
- Develop secure, scalable, and production-ready applications using .NET, ASP.NET, and C#.
- Enhance and resolve UI/UX issues across web applications.
- Refactor and streamline existing applications for improved performance and maintainability.
- Support Agile development processes and participate in collaborative team activities.
- Troubleshoot issues and support ongoing application improvements.
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.

Requirements
- U.S. Citizen and Active U.S. Passport.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of programming experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing and developing interactive web applications.
- Strong experience with:
- .NET / ASP.NET / C#
- SQL and relational databases
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
- Modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, NodeJS, jQuery, etc.)
- Experience designing and developing complex web applications.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
Preferred
- Experience with .NET-based CMS platforms such as Umbraco, DNN, Sitefinity.
- Experience with WebForms.
- Experience with RESTful APIs.
- Experience with Bootstrap.
- Experience supporting high-visibility or high-traffic websites/applications.
- Interest in cloud technologies and modern development practices.
- AWS Associate-level certification or higher.
- Ability to obtain technical certifications such as CompTIA Security+ and CompTIA Server+.
Additional Information
- Work Location: CONUS - Remote
- Reporting Hours: 9-6 Eastern Standard Time
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance
- Travel: None
- Annual base salary range: $75,000 - $105,000 USD
