Analytics applications such as dashboards, ML-based forecasts, and anomaly detection have become increasingly important in recent years. They help to better plan, control, and monitor processes and quality in the letter and parcel network. The ongoing structural change from Post to Parcel and the consistent use of synergies between our networks form the core of the 2030 strategy. This requires the structured collection and prioritization of new business requirements and the development of modern analytics applications. At the same time, existing solutions must be adapted to changing conditions and migrated to future-proof IT platforms. In the role of Business Analyst for Analytics Applications, you will make a significant contribution to the successful implementation of the Post & Parcel Germany strategy.

Your Responsibilities

• Business analysis for Data Analytics and BI applications for steering the operations of Post & Parcel Germany and capturing requirements for agile implementation (e.g., in use cases, user stories, mockups), including the use of AI (e.g., Copilot Chat).
• Participation in prioritizing business requirements in close collaboration with affected stakeholders.
• Accompanying technical implementation by international development teams, ensuring business correctness, and supporting testing.
• Developing consistent solution approaches for recurring issues and preparing decision-making bases.
• Quantitative and qualitative analysis of shipment flows based on large amounts of data.
• Conception and development of workflows and Visual Analytics applications (dashboards) for monitoring and controlling operational processes.

Your Profile

• Completed university degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, or Data Science.
• Initial professional experience and good knowledge of software development methods and tools required (e.g., requirements management, agile project management, and Copilot Chat).
• Understanding of data architectures or knowledge in Data Analytics.
• Knowledge of relational databases (SQL, ideally Snowflake) and Python is an advantage.
• Initial professional experience in analyzing large amounts of data and in using and developing Visual Analytics tools, especially PowerBI.
• Good German and English skills, both written and spoken (C1 level each).
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
• Structured way of working, teamwork skills, especially in intercultural teams.
• Quick comprehension and transfer competence.
• Very good communication and presentation skills, especially the ability to explain technical contexts understandably.
