We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Officer to support daily financial operations. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of accounting principles, be organized, and able to handle financial records with accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records
- Assist in preparing invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers
- Monitor expenses and ensure proper documentation of all financial activities
- Support bank reconciliations and track company accounts
- Assist in payroll preparation and expense tracking
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents (physical and digital)
- Support month-end and basic financial reporting processes
- Ensure compliance with company policies and basic financial controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience (NYSC experience can count)
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting tools
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
- Basic understanding of tax and statutory deductions.
