About the Role
As a Junior Accountant VIE in our Account to Report, GSA Team, you will participate in accounting activities for 5 Swiss entities. You will support global shared service centers and regional teams, coordinating with external auditors during interim and final audit phases.

Main Responsibilities
Daily Operations:
- Perform account reconciliations and review open items.
- Process and monitor accounting operations, including suppliers, customers, fixed assets & leasing, intercompany transactions, payroll, and cash movements.
Closing & Reporting Activities:
- Prepare and book monthly closing entries.
- Support the preparation of reporting packages.
- Participate in the preparation of analytical reviews and variance analyses.
- Assist with quarterly VAT declarations and compliance reports.
- Contribute to the preparation of Swiss statutory annual accounts.
Contribution to Strategic Special Projects & Transformation Initiatives (2026-2028):
- Support the migration to the SHIFT system for eligible entities and participate in entity integration projects and consolidation activities.
- Contribute to process improvements and system implementations.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with internal stakeholders (Senior Accountant, Head of A2R, Global Shared Service Centers, and regional teams) and external stakeholders (payroll providers, external auditors).
About You
Experience:
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP knowledge is a strong asset).
- Experience and knowledge in accounting principles (Swiss GAAP and IFRS preferred).
Soft and Technical Skills:
- Ability to work with multiple accounting systems and platforms.
- Detail accuracy and precision, strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure during closing periods, managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
- Team player who is proactive and also works independently.
- Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic, international, multicultural work environment, and ability to collaborate effectively across different time zones and cultural backgrounds.
- Curiosity and willingness to understand business processes.
- Strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Understanding of internal controls and compliance requirements.
Education:
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Languages:
- Fluent in English (written and spoken), French and German are a plus.
