The Junior Business Systems Analyst supports SureWerx’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) by helping translate business needs into scalable technology solutions. This role works closely with senior analysts, business stakeholders, and vendors, gaining hands‑on exposure to ERP operations, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast‑paced environment.
This is a fully remote role, and the ideal candidate resides in the Greater Toronto or Greater Montreal area.
Key Responsibilities
ERP System Support
- Assist senior analysts in configuring, maintaining, and supporting ERP systems.
- Help implement basic changes to modules, workflows, security, and data structures.
- Support day‑to‑day operational ERP needs and system stability.
Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
- Support EDI operations, maintenance, and partner onboarding activities.
- Assist with testing, issue resolution, and documentation related to EDI transactions.
Requirements & Business Analysis
- Work with business stakeholders to understand ERP related needs.
- Assist in documenting requirements, process flows, and functional specifications.
Issue Resolution & Support
- Support troubleshooting of ERP and integration issues.
- Log, track, and help resolve issues using a ticketing system (e.g., JIRA), escalating complex issues.
Data & Integration Support
- Assist with data entry, validation, and basic data mapping activities.
- Support data migration, integrations, and reconciliation efforts.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Participate in test planning, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Help ensure changes meet business requirements and do not disrupt operations.
Documentation & Training
- Help create and maintain user guides, SOPs, and process documentation.
- Assist with end‑user training and post‑go‑live support.
Change Management & Continuous Improvement
- Support change management activities to encourage user adoption.
- Identify and suggest process and system improvement opportunities.
Project Support
- Provide support during project planning, discovery, and scope sessions under the direction of senior analysts.
Education and Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in a business systems, application support, or analyst role.
- Exposure to ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle) is an asset.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Ability to document processes and requirements clearly.
- Organized, collaborative, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced environment.
