Our client, a prominent civil engineering consultancy firm, is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Civil Engineer to join their team in Gombe, Gombe, NG. You will work closely with experienced engineers on a variety of infrastructure projects, contributing to design, planning, and execution phases. Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in the design and development of civil engineering projects, such as roads, buildings, and drainage systems.
• Perform basic engineering calculations and analysis under the guidance of experienced professionals.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to gather data, monitor progress, and assist with quality control.
• Prepare technical drawings, reports, and documentation using CAD software and other engineering tools.
• Support the project management team by assisting with scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
• Learn and apply relevant engineering codes, standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with team members on various project tasks.
• Assist in the preparation of tender documents and contract administration.
• Gain exposure to construction methods and materials.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for project improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Strong academic record with a foundational understanding of civil engineering principles.
• Proficiency in basic CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) is desirable.
• Familiarity with engineering analysis software is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
