Our client is seeking a motivated and technically inclined Junior Cloud Engineer to join their rapidly growing, fully remote team. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the deployment, configuration, and management of cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Monitor cloud systems performance, availability, and security, identifying and resolving issues proactively. Support the implementation of automation scripts for infrastructure provisioning and management. Participate in troubleshooting and debugging of cloud-related incidents. Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with cloud infrastructure. Assist in implementing and maintaining security best practices in the cloud environment. Help manage cloud storage, databases, and networking components. Contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation for cloud architecture and procedures. Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies, trends, and services. Participate in on-call rotations as needed for incident response. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and services (e.g., IaaS, PaaS, SaaS). Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a strong plus. Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation tools is advantageous. Understanding of networking principles and operating systems (Linux/Windows). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, essential for effective remote collaboration. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies in a fast-paced environment. Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals) are a plus. Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated remote workspace.
