As a dedicated engineer, you are part of the Product Engineering STACKIT business unit. Here, our products and services are developed, tested, and improved.

More than a trainee program! From graduate to cloud professional in 9 months? With our "STACKIT Cloud-Accelerator-Program" we make you ready for the cloud as a career starter. After the program, you'll hit the ground running in the exciting cloud everyday life – ready, set, cloud!

What awaits you

• The program focus is comprehensive training in all cloud topics for the perfect start to your career at STACKIT.
• The program is structured as follows:
  • Arriving: 2-3 days – Settle in and set everything up with the STACKIT onboarding and kick-off.
  • Get Ready: 6 weeks – Learn Go, Kubernetes, our products, and the domains in technical training.
  • Innovation Lab: 8 weeks – Implement ideas in practice and learn agile methods directly through teamwork and pair programming.
  • Grow Together: 2 days (Offsite) – Present lab results, experience team building, a hackathon, and get your future team assignment.
  • Develop & Grow: 6 months – Experience everyday life in the expert team. You will implement projects and be specifically developed through monthly check-ins and soft-skill training.
  • Finals: The successful, joint completion of your program.

• After completing the program, you will receive a certificate and start as a Junior Cloud Engineer at STACKIT.
• You are permanently employed from day 1 and thus a fixed part of STACKIT.

This is you

• You have successfully completed a degree in computer science or a comparable qualification and are looking for a career entry in the future-oriented cloud environment.
• You ideally have already gained initial professional or internship experience in the cloud environment.
• You are interested in topics from operating systems to web applications and have already gained initial experience in development, preferably in Java, Go, TypeScript, or Python.
• You have foundations in Git, Web Development, and databases.
• You are enthusiastic, passionate about IT and new technologies.
• You don't work by the book, but are creative and put your heart into it.
• You communicate confidently in English and can exchange ideas in meetings and technical discussions. Additional German skills would be nice to have.
• You can attend the training/workshops on-site (Heilbronn office) for the first 12 weeks.
