Your Tasks

• As part of our agile engineering team, you will build and operate our diverse computer vision products together with your colleagues, contributing to the establishment of computer vision solutions in our stores.
• You will independently design, develop, and implement innovative computer vision products in Python.
• You will be significantly involved in the development and delivery of our end-to-end AI solutions – from software and infrastructure architecture to deployment strategies.
• You will implement and operate our software in close cooperation with our customers.
• You will train AI models, build computer vision pipelines, and generate the necessary data for them.
• You are part of a focused engineering team and contribute to its success with your proactive and collaborative working style.
• Your touchpoints will not only be development but also contact with customers and stakeholders.

Your Profile

• You have practical experience in professional software development and operating your software solutions.
• You know how to operate your software efficiently and ensure its functionality, e.g., through automated tests, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Cloud, Monitoring, etc.
• You have extensive experience in object-oriented programming (e.g., with Python).
• Ideally, you have experience in implementing Machine Learning / Computer Vision projects in the retail sector or have a strong interest in growing into this field.
• You are a strong communicator and enjoy direct contact with other engineering departments and our customers.
• You want to solve real problems with your software and create measurable added value.
• You enjoy working agilely in a team and communicate confidently in German and English.
