Position

Junior Quality Engineers (Customer or Production Focus) (f/m/d) – Leoben plant

Responsibilities

Customer‑Focused Tasks

• Implement and monitor customer‑defined quality requirements in production
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation (Certificates of Conformance, inspection and reliability specifications) and coordinate customer approvals
• Organize and support customer audits and visits; ensure smooth communication and execution
• Review and align internal processes with customer specifications; manage claims and 8D processes

Production‑Focused Tasks

• Monitor compliance with internal quality standards and initiate corrective actions to prevent nonconformities
• Support qualification of new materials, equipment, and processes; promote continuous improvement and advanced problem‑solving methods
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Engineering, NPI, QE, Laboratory) to standardize quality requirements across all product life stages

Requirements

• HTL graduate, University degree in e.g. Engineering or equivalent proven experience
• Strong communication skills in English for the Customer focused role and German language skills for the Production focused role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; organized and eager to learn
• Experience in customer or supplier communication and substrate industry is an advantage
