Junior Data Analyst - Remote

Our client, a fast-paced tech startup focused on innovative data solutions, is seeking a highly analytical and curious Junior Data Analyst to join their fully remote team. Responsibilities: Collect and organize data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and integrity. Perform data cleaning and preprocessing to prepare datasets for analysis. Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies. Develop reports and dashboards to visualize data insights for stakeholders. Assist in the development and implementation of data models and metrics. Support other departments with data-related queries and ad-hoc analysis. Collaborate with senior data analysts and scientists to refine analytical approaches. Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and concisely. Ensure data privacy and security standards are maintained. Stay updated on new data analysis techniques and tools. Assist in A/B testing design and analysis. Contribute to the continuous improvement of data collection and reporting processes. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field. Basic understanding of statistical concepts and data analysis techniques. Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar. Experience with spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets) for data analysis. Knowledge of at least one programming language commonly used in data analysis (e.g., Python with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, or R). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment. Prior internship or project experience in data analysis is a plus.
