Im Bereich Data Tech & Enablement bei Schwarz Digits IT gestalten wir datengetriebene Entscheidungen entlang der gesamten Customer Journey. Unser Team Data Business Layer stellt eine kuratierte Datenlandschaft bereit und stellt eine sichere Datenversorgung für unsere Data Products sicher. Your Responsibilities

• You develop and operate ETL pipelines, APIs, and curate data for our stakeholders.
• You ensure secure data supply (batch & real-time streaming) for existing and new data products.
• You work closely with international colleagues from Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Data Analysts within our Data Community.
• You actively share your knowledge and support colleagues in building Data Engineering competencies.
• You bring Data Engineering best practices into the organization and drive continuous improvements.
• You work in a modern cloud environment (Databricks, Google Cloud, Spark, Azure) with Python, PySpark, and SQL.

Your Qualifications

• Completed studies in Data Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable field.
• At least 2+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer in developing data-driven solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of Python, SQL, Spark.
• Proficient in using Version Control (Git) and agile working methods.
• Knowledge of Databricks including Lakeflow Declarative Pipelines (LDP), Airflow, BigQuery, and Snowflake is an advantage.
• Experience with cloud platforms - ideally Google Cloud & Azure.
• Experience with AI Agents is an advantage.
• Good understanding of adjacent data disciplines (e.g., Data Science, Analytics).
• The ability to understand, analyze, and translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.
• Enthusiasm for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and joint learning.
• Very good English skills - German is a plus, but not a must.
